Following the success of the Nor-Tech 390 Hi-Performance Sport Boat, Nor-Tech made a smaller version of the same boat. The Nor-Tech console boat 340 is good for more than 70 knots.
Although the Nor-Tech 340 is missing five feet to the 390, it really isn’t much of a difference. The boat has the same width and the only difference on board is that you no longer have a large U-sofa in the bow. Instead there is a bench.
The 340 is currently the fastest console boat Nor-Tech has made. Top speed is no less than 71 knots. To achieve this speed, 900 hp is needed. On the transom you’ll find 3 Mercury Verado 300 hp outboard engines, but it is also possible to have the boat delivered with much smaller engines, and still achieve good speed.
Nor-Tech’s demo boat (pictured below) is without a roof, and a 3×300 hp Verado painted in white and brown. The colors are the same as provided in the Audi R8. The interior is light vinyl. This too is in the same color as the interior of the R8. Otherwise, the boat flexi teak deck and a relatively spacious cabinbelow deck. There is sleeping accommodation for two people.
